We invite all to join us as we commemorate the Fatima Apparitions with the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima. We’ll start at the front lawn of Saint Gregory The Great Church with a procession on the property. Parents, Kids, Friends, everyone is welcome to participate!
Be a part of history as we publicly pray the Rosary for Maine and America! Processions were a common way to honor the Blessed Mother. We wish to show our children this beautiful way to show devotion and respect to the Blessed Mother whose cooperation with God’s Plan made our salvation possible through her son, Jesus Christ.
Highlights of the Procession and Rosary Rally:
• The procession will kick off the St Gregory The Great Rosary Rally that will be held on the front lawn near the main entrance of the property.
• Water will be available, and we encourage you to bring a snack or other drink for your child to eat once we have finished the procession at St. Anne’s.
• We will have Marian-themed, taped music to sing along with on the procession route, stopping at the Grotto for a Memorare.
• Light refreshments will be provided after the Rally.
Where to meet:
Those unable to walk in the Procession can meet us at the front lawn of St. Gregory The Great under the tents. (The Procession walk is approximately four tenths of a mile)
WE NEED YOU! Procession and Rally Volunteers!
Be part of the core group - We need people to volunteer to carry the litter the Fatima Statue will be on, pull the audio cart or carry the Crucifix that will lead the procession. What an honor to be one of these folks!
